Privacy
mycv.do uses the data you enter to create and keep your resumes. We do not publish your profile or resume. Sharing a downloaded PDF is your decision.
Data and storage
You need an account to work on your resumes. Your profile, resumes and revisions are saved privately on the server. The browser keeps changes only in memory while the page is open. Offline changes are not saved until the server confirms them. Sessions expire after 15 minutes of inactivity or a maximum of 8 hours.
Import and PDF
PDF, DOCX, TXT and LinkedIn exports are read in your browser. When importing, extracted or pasted text is automatically analysed with DeepSeek, or its saved analysis is reused. We retain the text and result encrypted, linked to your account and a content fingerprint, to reuse the analysis. The original file is not stored. The cache is deleted when you delete your account. Only information you review and incorporate is saved as part of your profile or resume. To generate a PDF, we send the selected version to the export service. Export files and temporary content expire after one hour.
Optional AI assistance
Before sending text to an AI provider, we show the selection and configured providers. Common contact patterns are hidden; review and remove other personal information. Each selection requires your consent. We do not automatically send your full profile. Temporary results are retained for up to 24 hours and usage/cost metadata for up to 30 days. The provider may apply its own processing terms, linked in the dialog.
Analytics and advertising
Optional features stay off until you allow them and the service is configured. Analytics is limited to public routes and excludes CV text, contact details and account identifiers. Workspace pages may reserve space for local sponsorships. Third-party ads only load on public pages, never alongside private CV data. You can change your choice at any time.
Export, delete and sign out
In My account you can download your data, restore trashed versions for 30 days or delete your data from the service. Signing out revokes access and clears the state of open tabs. If changes are pending, you can save them before leaving or confirm that you want to discard them. Downloaded files remain under your control. Operational backups follow the deployment retention policy.
